From Rockets to Novels

Military brats are constantly on the move growing up, and Brian Simmons was no exception. His enthusiasm for the unknown and desire to push the limits have their roots in his transient youth. Decades later he'd find a soulmate with a similar upbringing, the product of her own unique experiences.

While driving a tow truck, Brian earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, eventually becoming Chief Engineer for the world's most powerful rocket motor. Raising four boys along the way, he also raced stock cars and managed a volunteer fire department.

Connie, a cowgirl, grew up loving to make people laugh, becoming a hairbender with two successful salons. Her other accomplishments like biker, camel jockey, and roller derby queen speak to her sense of adventure and fun.

Today Brian and his wife Connie are both authors. Occasionally consulting with rocket scientists, his focus is now on Connie, an amazing Idaho woman who out-fishes and out-dances him, and on publishing their books.

Bringing out the best in each other, they're bringing all of their stories to market, taking their show on the road to promote their efforts at book signings and interviews, when not out dancing to Tylor & the Train Robbers.
